If you’re looking to try something new on your next visit to Maui, visit Infusion Yoga Maui in Paia Town, the newest Yoga & Barre Studio on Maui’s north shore. This cozy yoga studio offers the only barre fusion classes on the island in addition to a variety of challenging yoga classes, including Chakra Flow, Acupuncture Yoga, Yoga Flow, Kriya Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Power Hour.
Trish Bianco, owner and founder of Infusion Yoga, got her start teaching yoga on study abroad program in Australia 14 years ago and hasn’t stopped since. Even if it has been a while since you’ve taken a yoga class (or if you’re brand new to the idea), Trish gives helpful instructions and modifications, perfect for first-timers or advanced yogis. Her happy demeanor, excellent choices in background music and encouragement help you make the most of your class, and the popularity of her classes are a testament to her skills.
If you don’t have the opportunity to take a class with Trish, don’t worry – her staff of dedicated teachers are all talented, unique and extremely welcoming. This is the perfect morning activity in Paia to get your day started right. After an energizing and refreshing class, I recommend grabbing a cup of coffee and taking a dip in the ocean, which sits only a few blocks away.
While there are many ways to challenge your skills in Maui, from windsurfing Ho’okipa to hiking in Haleakala to driving the Road to Hana, attending a yoga or barre class is a great way to reconnect, focus and meet other travelers.
Infusion Yoga is located in Paia Town in the building behind Dazoo and Pearl. Hawaii residents can enjoy the first month of unlimited classes for $45; otherwise, classes are $17 – $22 for drop-in, or packages are available for discounted rates per class. Just remember… if you come to Maui and don’t break a sweat, you’re doing something wrong.

Agreed, Cadence! All of those things are pure gold.
