The Brewery
The Maui Brewing Co. tasting room is the latest addition to the company, and the design is impeccable. The front of the brewery is all windows, washing the tasting room in Maui’s tropical sunshine during the day, and Wailea’s sparkling waterfront at night. And don’t forget to take a moment to catch a glimpse of the sunset, which never disappoints. With comfortable seating throughout, you can find a quiet corner or jump into the beer-tasting party!
Tasters, flights, goblets, and pints are available in the tasting room, with the beer selection rotating regularly.
Brewery Tour reservations are available for those that want to take their beer appreciation to the next level. These tours are offered daily (reservations are required), and you’ll get up close and personal with their Brewhaus, Cellar, and Packaging line. This 45-50 minute tour also includes a tasting of Maui Brewing Co.’s flagship beers, a token for a full beer (or root beer), and a souvenir glass for you to keep!
Maui Brewing Co. is true to its name, with 100% of the beers being brewed and canned on Maui. The company carries the title of #1 craft beer in Hawaii, but they don’t stop there. Maui Brewing Co. is also very committed to the environment. The microbrews are packaged with eco-friendly materials and the spent grain from their beer production is donated to local ranchers for cattle feed and composting. Any cans damaged in the line of products are donated to the Maui Humane Society. When you drink a Maui Brewing Co. beer, you’re supporting a very good cause!

Maui Brewing Co. has their cult favorite flagship beers, which you can find in almost every grocery store or restaurant in Hawaii. Make sure to sample at least one when you go tasting. Our filtered Munich Helles Lager brewed with floral hops and Pilsner and Munich malts. This is the closest thing to an American Lager from Maui Brewing Co., but not skimpy of flavor. Bold, smooth and refreshing!”
Big Swell IPA: “Big, Hoppy, Bold, Smooth, And Hoppy…Did We Mention Hoppy?
Our handcrafted India Pale Ale brewed with four different kinds of Northwestern hops and malted barley…dry-hopped to perfection. Its flavor begins smooth and malty and is followed with a big burst of hop flavor.”
Coconut Porter: “…Like Hot Chicks On The Beach
Our CoCoNut PorTeR is a fresh handcrafted robust Porter brewed with six varieties of malted barley, hops and hand-toasted coconut. It begins with a malty-toasted coconut aroma followed by a rich, silky feel with tastes of dark malt, chocolate and hints of coffee. It then finishes with flavors of toasted coconut and hoppy spice to balance the finish.”
Mana Wheat: “Where’s My Ukulele?!?!
An unfiltered, freshly handcrafted American-style Wheat infused with Maui Gold Pineapple. Our crisp and refreshing wheat ale is lightly hopped to allow the fruity sweetness of the pineapple to shine. The yeast stays in suspension making the ale traditionally cloudy.”
Island Root Beer: If you’re underage or the designated driver, Maui Brewing Co. offers a delicious alternative to beer. Their Island Root Beer is made with pure Maui cane sugar, Maui honey and Maui vanilla bean. Utilizing local produce, this root beer supports Maui’s agricultural farmers.
Limited Release
Because they have such a blast making beer, Maui Brewing Co. also has a few limited-release beers that they showcase every year. And if you fall in love with one, they sell six-packs and kegs so you can keep enjoying your favorite beer long after its sold out.
The Games
Even the most dedicated beer connoisseurs can agree that you can only drink so many beers before your palate needs a break. Thankfully, Maui Brewing Co. knew this and planned ahead.
