Natalie Brown just got back from a swim at Baldwin Beach and shared some photos with us. Baldwin is a beautiful beach on the north side of Maui. Just west of downtown Paia, Baldwin Beach is a long stretch of beige sand with views of Maui Komohana or Mauna Kahalawai. It’s a beautiful beach, but it has setbacks for those looking to swim and lounge on the beach. It often is very windy and can have heavy shorebreak during the winter swell season. But, like today, there are times when it is just perfect.
