It’s been years since Dazoo was open. Hana Ranch Provisions went in next, and now the property is vacant. Someone bring back a great restaurant to Paia Town!

We’re always excited to see new restaurants in Paia Town, and the newest addition, Dazoo, is certainly no exception.
The inside of the restaurant gives off a modern yet relaxed, funky vibe, and is the perfect place to grab a low key breakfast before work, relaxed weekend lunch or nice cocktail and dinner on date night. Using locally grown, organic ingredients, Dazoo boasts culinary styles from places all around the world, including Asian-American cuisine with Korean flair, like the Kimchi-ba Burger, lunch items like Bahn Mi Sandwiches with kalua pork, bulgogi, charsiu and lemongrass tofu or chicken, and excellent Bibimbap.
Lunch is served daily from 11:00am – 3:00pm, with a weekend Brunch available from 9:00am – 3:00pm. Check out the Lunch Menu for the full effect.
They also believe in the Spanish art of tapas-style sharing, offering an assortment of great Small, Medium and Main plate options for dinner.
If you prefer to drink your dinner, the bar, headed by lead mixologist Jimmy Shoemaker, is not to be ignored. The cocktail menu offers a little something for everyone, ranging from the always popular Patron Margarita to some more unique options, including an appropriately-named cocktail called Lost, made with Tanqueray Gin, Fernet Branca, Cinzano Rosso, Upcountry honey, ginger-lemongrass syrup, a maraschino cherry, and orange bitters. Yum.
Dinner is served daily from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, and Happy Hour is available from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Special Kama’aina rates are offered for Lunch & Dinner on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday as well!
We enjoyed a fantastic diner for 2 where we shared tapas and cocktails (finished off with homemade vanilla ice-cream and an amazing gluten-free brownie.) The SSAM blew us away. It was delicious from beginning to end.

You have tempted me to grab my husband by the hand and head down to Paia tomorrow for a burger. I like to surprise him with sudden impulses to try something new, and by the way you described this new place I think he won’t mind!
